Architecture-Driven Modernization Task Force Charter

This document is a charter for the Architecture-Driven Modernization (ADM) Platform Task Force, initiated by Djenana Campara from Klocwork. It defines ADM as a process aimed at enhancing existing software assets through various methods such as software improvement, modifications, interoperability, refactoring, restructuring, reuse, porting, migration, and translation into other languages. The document outlines the mission of the task force, which is to create specifications and foster industry consensus on the modernization of existing applications. It presents a roadmap for successful modernization that includes several meta-models, such as the Knowledge Discovery Meta-model (KDM), target models, and source-to-target mapping models.
