This case study documents the implementation of Omnissa Workspace ONE® UEM by Mattheeuws Transport to automate its rugged device management. The objective was to reduce the onboarding time for new drivers and improve overall operational efficiency. Prior to this implementation, onboarding took two days, but with the new system, it has been reduced to less than two hours, resulting in an annual cost saving of €15,000. The study outlines how centralized device provisioning, automated offboarding, and enhanced security measures have alleviated the administrative burden on IT, improved compliance, and ensured secure data handling. The partnership with ITQ facilitated the strategic guidance necessary for this transition, focusing on automation and scalability. The deployment of Workspace ONE UEM has led to significant improvements in device management, allowing for automated staging and provisioning of devices, while also enhancing security through features such as kiosk mode and app wrapping. This modernization supports Mattheeuws' growth and operational efficiency in the logistics sector.
