This case study examines the integration of Opiniion with AppFolio, a property management software, to enhance resident satisfaction and engagement. It outlines the challenges faced by property management companies in collecting resident feedback and generating online reviews, primarily due to staff shortages and time constraints. The study highlights how the Opiniion platform addresses these issues by automating the feedback collection process at various key events in the resident lifecycle, such as during tours, move-ins, and after maintenance requests. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in both the quantity and quality of resident feedback, with properties increasing their review count from 3,513 to 4,439 and raising average ratings from 2.8 to 4.0. This shift to an automated approach not only alleviates the burden on property staff but also provides a clearer understanding of resident sentiments, ultimately leading to enhanced resident experiences and improved online ratings.
