This case study outlines the initiatives taken by a global telecommunications company to enhance employee financial wellbeing through tailored support services. The organization, which employs 70,000 individuals, partnered with Optum to implement an Emotional Wellbeing Solutions program aimed at addressing mental health and financial stress among employees. The program includes 24/7 emotional support, coaching, and financial services. A recent analysis revealed that many employees faced challenges related to mental health and financial concerns, particularly in the post-pandemic context. To address these issues, Optum collaborated with the company's leadership to promote the available resources more effectively. This included allowing call center agents to attend money coaching sessions during work hours and launching a promotional campaign to raise awareness of financial wellbeing services. As a result of these efforts, the company saw significant improvements, including a 105% increase in money coaching appointments and enhanced employee productivity.
