This technical report presents a validation study of the MindPrint Learning Universal Screener for special education. The study focuses on the psychometric properties and utility of the MindPrint assessment in identifying students who may require additional support or a comprehensive educational evaluation. It employs a descriptive quantitative design, utilizing data from 15,581 students across three school districts in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Arkansas. The report details the research design, participant demographics, and analytical methods used to assess the reliability and validity of the MindPrint assessment scores. Key findings include acceptable levels of internal consistency reliability, significant differences in scores between special education and non-special education students, and moderate to strong correlations between MindPrint scores and standardized achievement tests. The study aims to meet the submission standards for NSF SBIR grant requirements and ESSA evidence standards, providing insights into the assessment's predictive validity across diverse student populations.
