TBox LT2 Implementation for Water Infrastructure

This technical report outlines the implementation of Ovarro's TBox LT2 for Greater Western Water (GWW) in Victoria, Australia. GWW, facing challenges such as stricter environmental compliance and the need for efficient asset performance, sought to modernize its operational technology. The report details the decision to replace legacy Remote Telemetry Units (RTUs) at over 100 critical sites to enhance real-time data management. The TBox LT2 was selected for its cost-effectiveness, protocol compliance, and low power operation. The implementation process included pilot testing at ten sites, which demonstrated the TBox LT2's capabilities in automation, monitoring, and seamless integration with existing SCADA systems.
