This case study details the implementation of SnapServer with GuardianOS by SYSU International to address their data backup challenges. In 2010, SYSU adopted SAP ECC 6.0 ERP to streamline business processes but faced limitations in their existing data backup storage after seven years of use. The organization required a scalable, reliable, and cost-effective backup solution to accommodate their growing data needs, including the newly implemented SAP BOBJ system. After evaluating various options, SYSU selected SnapServer for its performance and expandability. The implementation was completed in two days, and the solution has since provided effective protection for their data. An external audit confirmed the successful integration of SnapServer with their backup systems. The case study highlights features such as unified storage management, dynamic RAID capabilities, advanced security, and disaster recovery solutions, which have contributed to increased productivity and cost savings for SYSU International.
