This technical report presents a research-driven analysis of Microsoft Teams meeting applications, focusing on the usage of various bots and applications during Teams calls. The analysis is based on anonymized data from approximately 1 million calls conducted between November and December 2025, utilizing the TrueDEM platform. The report aims to identify which applications are used within Teams meetings, their deployment frequency, and the infrastructure supporting them. It specifically examines Microsoft native bots, excluding third-party applications for privacy reasons. The report outlines the functionalities of several Microsoft services, such as Voicemail, Conferencing AutoAttendant, and Teams AutoAttendant, detailing their usage patterns and the number of distinct hosts involved. The findings provide insights into the operational aspects of Microsoft Teams meetings, emphasizing the importance of understanding application usage for organizational productivity and compliance.
