Automation of User Identity Management Process

This case study details the automation of the User Identity Management (UID) process for a private sector bank using Av3ar's intelligent automation solutions. The bank, which operates 344 branches across India, faced challenges related to manual operations that resulted in delays, errors, and high operational costs. The implemented solution involved the use of Av3ar iBoT to automate UID creation, modification, and deletion across 42 applications. The iBoT reads requests from the service desk, triages them, and executes necessary actions based on predefined operating procedures. The automation process not only reduced dependency on human resources but also improved overall efficiency, achieving a 90% automation rate in UID management. The solution architecture incorporates AI technologies for ticket categorization and exception handling. The results included significant reductions in turnaround time and manpower costs, showcasing the effectiveness of automation in enhancing operational productivity within the banking sector.
