Performance Comparison of Illumina MiSeq i100 Sequencing

This technical report evaluates the performance of the Illumina MiSeq i100 sequencing platform against established instruments, specifically the MiSeq and NextSeq 550, for amplicon-based somatic and liquid biopsy sequencing panels. The study involved seven different panels tested on a total of 59 paired samples, which included known positives and negatives. The MiSeq i100 demonstrated a higher mapping rate compared to the other platforms, although it exhibited a slightly lower on-target rate.
