Temporary-to-Permanent Affordable Housing Solution Case Study

This case study details the partnership between Pinnacle Group and the London Borough of Bromley aimed at addressing the rising number of homeless households in the borough. The initiative focuses on reducing reliance on temporary accommodation by providing more secure housing solutions. The project aims to secure a portfolio of 250 street properties through a model governed by a Limited Liability Partnership, which sources capital investment for an acquisitions program. The initial phase, known as the Meadowship Homes programme, successfully secured £85 million in investment, resulting in the acquisition of 260 homes, with 250 currently tenanted. The initiative is projected to save the council £1.6 million annually in temporary accommodation costs. Following the success of the first phase, a second program, Meadowship Homes 2, commenced in 2023, with over 190 properties purchased to date.
