This technical report outlines the deployment process for HP EliteBook Notebook PCs powered by Snapdragon and Intel processors in a Windows environment. The study evaluates the time and effort required for operating system deployment using two management approaches: Windows Autopilot with Microsoft Intune and Configuration Manager. The report details hands-on testing conducted with an HP EliteBook 6 G1q Notebook AI PC featuring a Snapdragon X Elite processor and an HP EliteBook 640 G11 Notebook PC with an Intel Core Ultra processor. Results indicate that both deployment methods required the same time and steps, demonstrating that adding Copilot+ PCs to an existing fleet does not necessitate changes to IT deployment processes. The report also discusses key features of the Copilot+ PCs, including AI-accelerated user experiences and advanced security measures, emphasizing the importance of maintaining streamlined workflows for IT teams. Overall, the findings suggest that organizations can efficiently integrate these new devices without disrupting established practices.
