This case study details the digital classroom refresh project undertaken by Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) in Jonesboro, Georgia. With a focus on improving teaching effectiveness and student engagement, CCPS developed a comprehensive RFP and selected Boxlight as a primary vendor to provide an all-in-one technology solution. The deployment includes 75-inch interactive flat panels, wireless pen tablets, document cameras, and assessment systems across approximately 3,000 classrooms. The project aims to streamline technology use in classrooms, addressing previous challenges of disjointed technological solutions that hindered instructional time. CCPS emphasizes the importance of user-friendly technology that integrates seamlessly into existing instructional practices. To ensure successful implementation and high adoption rates, CCPS provides continuous support through Digital Learning Specialists and offers professional training to teachers. Early data indicates a positive response from educators, showcasing increasing utilization of the new technology during the 2018-19 school year.
