Senior Leader Apprenticeship End Point Assessment Overview

This document is an overview of the End Point Assessment (EPA) for the Senior Leader Apprenticeship program. It outlines the assessment methods, gateway requirements, grading criteria, and procedures for resits and retakes. The EPA consists of two main assessment methods: a strategic business proposal with a presentation and questioning, and a professional discussion supported by a portfolio of evidence. The strategic business proposal must be completed within a 12-week timeframe and has a word limit of 4,000 words. The presentation lasts 20 minutes, followed by a 40-minute questioning session. The professional discussion lasts 60 minutes and involves a minimum of eight questions. Gateway requirements include confirmation of completed academic modules and submission of a portfolio. Grading for both assessment methods is Pass, Distinction, or Fail, and both must be passed to achieve an overall pass. If an apprentice fails, they may resit within specified timeframes.
