This case study outlines the collaboration between Qualitest and a leading social media organization aimed at improving the accuracy of voice-recognition software. The Client faced challenges in recognizing diverse speech patterns, particularly strong accents and varied tones, which hindered their device's performance. To address this, Qualitest provided a comprehensive suite of Ground Truth data services, including data collection, ingestion, and tagging. The project involved leveraging the Client's diverse employee base to gather a wide range of speech utterances. Qualitest implemented a strategic approach to enroll participants, utilizing a multi-faceted marketing program to achieve over 4,000 sign-ups within two months. The initiative resulted in 2,500 dogfooding sessions, capturing 115,000 utterances, significantly enhancing the speech recognition capabilities of the Client's software. The successful deployment of mobile teams and effective communication strategies contributed to a 65% conversion rate from sign-up to session, demonstrating the effectiveness of the data collection process.
