This report presents the findings from the Qualtrics 2025 Employee Experience Trends Study, which surveyed employees across 23 countries/regions to evaluate their workplace experiences. The study analyzed five key employee experience indicators: Engagement, Inclusion, Well-Being, Intent to Stay, and Experience versus Expectations, comparing data from 2021 to 2024. The report indicates that employees in the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region scored higher than global averages on most key performance indicators, except for Inclusion. Notably, Chinese employees reported significantly more favorable experiences, with their exclusion leading to lower scores for the APJ region overall. Company pride emerged as a primary driver of engagement, alongside customer focus. The report also highlights significant increases in scores among Hong Kong employees compared to previous years, while other countries in the region showed either declines or no change in their ratings. The methodology involved an online survey conducted in Q3 of 2024, encompassing 36,872 employees.
