Protein Barcoding and Next-Generation Protein Sequencing Workflow

This research article presents a novel protein barcoding workflow integrated with single-molecule Next-Generation Protein Sequencing (NGPS) on the Platinum instrument. The study validates eight peptide barcodes designed for high sensitivity and minimal detection bias, demonstrating the capacity for multiplexed protein selection and analysis. This innovative approach lays the groundwork for improved protein interaction characterization and targeted drug delivery strategies.
