This case study outlines the transformation of the Miami HEAT's content production workflow through the implementation of high-performance storage and asset management solutions. The creative services group, responsible for generating in-game and between-game content, faced challenges with their existing storage platform, which was rigid and unable to support the diverse needs of their production teams. To address these issues, they partnered with Integrated Media Technologies (IMT) and adopted Quantum's StorNext, CatDV, and ActiveScale solutions. The new workflow allows for high-throughput storage, enabling 60 creators to work efficiently with large volumes of content. The case study details the selection of CatDV for asset management, emphasizing its flexibility and integration capabilities, particularly with North Shore Automation's Stats Injector. The implementation has resulted in enhanced content access, streamlined workflows, and the ability to support evolving media formats, ensuring the Miami HEAT can meet their production demands effectively.
