This case study details the implementation of PublicSchoolWORKS solutions at Forest Hills School District (FHSD) to improve safety training and accident management, resulting in significant cost savings. FHSD, located in Hamilton County, Ohio, serves approximately 7,600 students and employs 1,008 staff members. The district transitioned from a workers’ compensation pool to a self-insured model, necessitating enhanced staff safety training to reduce workplace injuries and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The EmployeeSafe Staff Compliance Training system automated safety training, providing personalized course assignments and reminders, which improved training efficiency. Additionally, the manual accident reporting process was replaced with an online form that streamlined incident reporting and follow-up. The results included $211,000 in savings in the first year, reduced administrative time, and minimized workplace injuries, contributing to lower insurance costs.
