This document is a case study detailing the implementation of a visitor management system at the Boys & Girls Clubs of East Alabama. The objective of this initiative was to standardize visitor management across multiple clubhouses to comply with Boys & Girls Clubs of America membership requirements and meet Praesidium accreditation standards. The Director of Operations, A.J. Harris, recognized the need for a system that could efficiently track and verify visitors while maintaining an open and welcoming environment for children and families. The Raptor VisitorSafe system was introduced to screen visitors by requiring them to scan their government IDs, which are then checked against sex offender registries. The implementation of this system has resulted in 100% verification of visitors and has helped the Clubs maintain their safety standards. The case study also discusses the importance of community communication and trust in ensuring the successful adoption of these safety measures.
