This case study outlines the implementation of a customer referral program and a partner program by FeedXL, a B2B SaaS company that provides solutions for veterinarians, nutritionists, and feed companies. The objective was to automate and streamline the referral tracking process, which was previously manual and time-consuming. FeedXL faced challenges in attributing referrals accurately and managing two distinct programs with different messaging and rewards. By utilizing Referral Rock, FeedXL developed an automated referral system that eliminated the need for spreadsheets and allowed for tracking referrals throughout the sales process. In the first four months, the customer referral program attracted 168 participants and generated 150 new referrals, while the partner program engaged 26 partners and produced 66 referrals. The automation resulted in significant time savings and increased web traffic, demonstrating the effectiveness of tailored referral experiences for different audiences.
