Hent Streamlines Print Operations With RSI Control+

This case study details how Hent, a construction company based in Norway, adopted a cloud print management model to enhance its print operations. Faced with complex and labor-intensive challenges in setting up print infrastructure at onsite offices, Hent sought a more efficient solution. After evaluating various options, they selected Ricoh Smart Integration (RSI) Control+ and Ricoh multifunction printers (MFPs) to reduce administrative burdens and improve onsite effectiveness. The implementation of RSI Control+ eliminated the need for onsite servers, allowing employees to connect directly to MFPs from their mobile devices. This transition simplified print operations, enabling self-registration and direct printing without local network dependencies. The cloud model not only streamlined project management but also provided comprehensive tracking of print activities, facilitating accurate cost reporting.
