This case study details the implementation of Riverbed Aternity Digital Experience Management (DEM) by Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) to enhance digital experiences and improve patient pathways. KCHFT, a major NHS community health provider in England, faced challenges with limited visibility into application and hardware performance, which affected clinician productivity and patient care. The IT team sought a solution to monitor and optimize these processes. By deploying Aternity, KCHFT gained comprehensive insights into application performance and enabled auto-remediation of incidents, significantly reducing downtime and improving the clinician experience. The solution also facilitated better decision-making regarding hardware management, allowing KCHFT to revise its asset refresh plan based on performance data. The case study highlights the positive impact of Aternity on operational efficiency and patient care, as well as the Trust's commitment to sustainability by reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint.
