This case study details how Brooke Weston Trust utilized funding from the Connect the Classroom scheme to enhance network infrastructure across several schools. The trust, which comprises twelve primary and secondary schools in Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire, aimed to improve connectivity to facilitate better educational outcomes for students. The upgrades were implemented in four schools, including Corby Business Academy, Thomas Clarkson Academy, and Thrapston Primary School, with the latter being added due to inadequate existing infrastructure. The collaboration with RM, the trust's managed service IT provider, was crucial in securing funding and ensuring successful implementation. The upgrades have led to improved teaching capabilities, particularly in specialized units for students with special educational needs. Enhanced connectivity has also streamlined administrative tasks and facilitated resource sharing among staff, ultimately supporting the trust's goal of providing high-quality educational opportunities for all students.
