Cyber Essentials Consultancy Case Study for Multi-Academy Trust

This case study details the Cyber Essentials consultancy process undertaken by RM for a multi-academy trust comprising around 30 primary schools in England. The trust aimed to enhance its cyber security posture while balancing its decentralized operational culture. The consultancy began with a self-assessment to establish a baseline for progress, followed by a gap analysis conducted by RM's consultant. An action plan was developed in collaboration with trust stakeholders, and regular meetings were held to review progress. The final report outlined completed actions and remaining tasks, ranked by importance. As a result of this process, the trust gained a clearer understanding of its cyber security risks and received tools to address vulnerabilities.
