RoboForm Security Penetration Test Summary

This document is a security assessment report conducted by Secfault Security for RoboForm. The report summarizes the execution of a penetration test on the RoboForm solution, which included grey-box penetration tests across various clients such as the Windows Desktop Client, macOS Desktop Client, Android and iOS applications, browser extensions, and the online portal. The testing procedures involved manual dynamic tests and binary analyses, carried out over a period from August 26, 2024, to September 20, 2024. The analysis required a total of 20 person days. Throughout the project, multiple vulnerabilities of varying criticality were identified and reported to RoboForm, which addressed these issues. Subsequent retests confirmed that the identified vulnerabilities were fully resolved, with no directly exploitable vulnerabilities remaining. The findings outside the test scope were marked as 'Deferred'. The report concludes that the RoboForm solution meets an industry-accepted standard of security, acknowledging the cooperation of the RoboForm team during the audit.
