National Chengchi University Wi-Fi 6E Network Case Study

This case study details the implementation of a Wi-Fi 6E wireless network project at National Chengchi University (NCCU) in collaboration with RUCKUS Networks and MetaAge Corporation. The project aims to address the high-density network demands arising from increased social media usage and live streaming activities among students and faculty. The RUCKUS Networks R760 access points (APs) were introduced to provide stable, low-latency wireless internet experiences across the campus. The deployment has proven effective during various high-traffic events, such as sports competitions and graduation ceremonies, where the APs successfully supported thousands of simultaneous connections. The study outlines the challenges faced by traditional wireless networks in high-density environments and highlights the advanced capabilities of the R760 APs, including superior interference avoidance and high capacity. Moving forward, NCCU plans to expand the deployment of these access points to enhance network quality for all users on campus.
