Network Infrastructure Transformation at Saigon South International School

This case study outlines the network infrastructure transformation at Saigon South International School (SSIS) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Established 25 years ago, SSIS has built a reputation for a student-centered learning environment based on an American curriculum, and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The school sought to enhance its network capabilities to support online resources and collaborative learning. Previously using a competitor's cloud-managed network, SSIS aimed for improved performance and coverage. The solution involved deploying RUCKUS SmartZone controllers and multiple access points to create a reliable, high-performance Wi-Fi network across the campus. The implementation was executed in two phases, ensuring that students and teachers now benefit from superfast, reliable Wi-Fi. The partnership with CommScope and local distributors facilitated the deployment, ensuring that the network meets the evolving needs of the educational institution.
