This case study details the modernization of the Wi-Fi network at the European School Frankfurt (ESF), which aimed to enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of the existing infrastructure to support digital education demands. The project was initiated due to the increasing use of mobile devices and digital solutions within the educational setting, necessitating a robust network capable of handling high-density environments. The modernization involved the implementation of the latest generation of RUCKUS access points and controllers, which provided improved connectivity and management capabilities. The collaboration between ESF and Häusler KG ensured that the modernization was completed without disrupting school operations. Feedback from students and teachers indicated a significant improvement in network performance, facilitating uninterrupted access to educational resources. The case study emphasizes the importance of investing in future-proof digital infrastructure to support ongoing digital transformation in educational environments.
