This report details the implementation of the SchooLinks college and career readiness (CCR) platform in Oxford Public Schools, a K-12 district in Connecticut. The district aimed to enhance student engagement in postsecondary planning by adopting a modern solution after nearly two decades with an outdated system. The transition involved piloting the platform with juniors and fully launching it across grades 6 through 12, resulting in approximately 97 percent student onboarding. The report outlines how the advisory model empowered teachers to facilitate SchooLinks activities, fostering a collaborative environment for CCR programming. It highlights the significant increase in student participation in CCR events, driven by the platform's event scheduling features. The report also discusses the smooth integration of the College Application Manager, which enhanced counselors' support for students during the college application process. Looking ahead, Oxford plans to expand family engagement and integrate SchooLinks into academic experiences, further embedding CCR into the district's educational framework.
