This case study outlines how Naperville Community Unit School District 203 streamlined its college and career readiness (CCR) activities and data tracking by implementing SchooLinks. Faced with challenges due to local and national legislation requiring specific tracking of college and career readiness indicators, the district sought a unified platform to enhance efficiency and consistency. The process involved a detailed Request for Proposals (RFP) where district administrators, counselors, and students participated in vendor demonstrations to ensure the selected platform met their needs. The implementation was strategic, with designated SchooLinks Champions at each school to facilitate training and usage. As a result, 90% of students were onboarded by the predetermined goal date. The platform enabled a shift from traditional course planning to a more future-oriented approach, allowing students to select pathways based on their long-term goals. The district now efficiently tracks CCR metrics for state reporting while engaging students in their post-secondary planning.
