This case study outlines Scout's approach to improving investigator training and communication for two biopharmaceutical clients conducting complex clinical trials during COVID-19 restrictions. The study focused on a Phase 3b trial for community-acquired bacterial pneumonia and a COVID-19 treatment study. Scout implemented several strategies, including virtual investigator meetings with pre-training access through Scout Academy, custom user profiles for tailored content delivery, and language inclusivity by providing training in English and Russian. Additionally, streamlined communication was achieved through weekly email updates and an updated Academy Calendar. The objective was to ensure that investigators were well-prepared and informed about study protocols while facilitating better collaboration among geographically dispersed teams. Scout's solutions led to improved engagement, reduced site burden, and enhanced trial recruitment outcomes, all while maintaining cost-effectiveness and high quality.
