Summary
This document is a case study detailing the design and installation of a comprehensive surveillance solution for Wayne Farms LLC, a major poultry producer in the US. The company faced challenges with outdated camera systems that necessitated a complete overhaul rather than a simple upgrade. Wayne Farms sought a reliable security partner to create a new surveillance system across its four facilities, which include a processing plant, feedlots, and a hatchery. SCW was selected for its proven capabilities in delivering large-scale security solutions. The project involved installing 124 varifocal 4K cameras, a large NVR, PoE switches, and Ubiquiti access points to ensure complete coverage without straining the existing network. The new system allows for easy access to footage across various devices, enhancing convenience for users.
