This case study details the implementation of the BarTender enterprise labeling software at TAL Apparel, a global leader in apparel manufacturing. The company faced challenges with its previous in-house label design system, which required significant technical resources for modifications and lacked essential features such as print previews. The inefficiencies of this system hindered TAL Apparel’s innovation goals and supply chain velocity. To address these issues, TAL Apparel evaluated various labeling technologies and ultimately selected BarTender after a successful Proof of Concept. The new system has streamlined label creation, allowing for a 50% reduction in time-to-production. BarTender's user-friendly interface enables non-technical staff to manage label printing and modifications, significantly reducing labor time. Additionally, the integration of BarTender with TAL Apparel's existing systems has minimized risks associated with label production. The implementation reflects TAL Apparel's commitment to innovation and efficiency in its manufacturing processes.
