Modernizing Document Management for Financial Institutions

This case study outlines the document management challenges faced by Calhoun Liberty Credit Union (CLCU) in Florida, particularly after acquiring the Florida Rural Electric Credit Union. CLCU needed to modernize its document management system due to the large volume of paper records, with over 200 boxes of documents requiring digitization and secure storage. The transition to virtual audits following the Covid-19 pandemic further complicated their operations, necessitating quick access to records. Secure Records Solutions (SRS) provided a solution by indexing and digitizing a significant portion of these records while securely storing the remainder. The implementation of a centralized, cloud-based document management system allowed for streamlined access and improved operational efficiency.
