This case study outlines the challenges faced by a semiconductor manufacturing company headquartered in Japan regarding unresponsive critical risk vendors. The company required a timely security assessment of 34 vendors, all of whom had VPN access to their infrastructure, under a tight deadline due to concerns over potential security incidents linked to their supply chain. To address this issue, the customer implemented TITAN MAX, a managed service from SecurityScorecard, which involved the creation, delivery, and analysis of vendor questionnaires. The TITAN MAX team deployed a structured workflow that facilitated communication and automation, adapting the customer's original assessment content into the SecurityScorecard platform. This approach enabled automated tracking and validation of vendor responses. Within 48 hours, an 80% completion rate was achieved, significantly reducing the burden on the customer's internal teams and establishing TITAN MAX as a trusted partner in their ongoing supply chain cybersecurity strategy.
