This case study details Safilo's implementation of SEEBURGER Cloud Integration Services to enhance their data exchange management processes. Initially relying on traditional methods, Safilo sought to digitalize their operations, particularly after receiving onboarding information from a key trading partner. They adopted the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS) for its cloud services and automation capabilities, which allowed them to focus on their core business of eyewear design and distribution. The study outlines Safilo's challenges, including migrating their legacy ERP to SAP and complying with electronic invoicing mandates in Italy. Since 2019, Safilo has utilized SEEBURGER's Global E-Invoicing Services to ensure compliance with Italian regulations and has expanded its e-invoicing project to Spain. The integration has facilitated a continuous flow of data across multiple continents, improving efficiency and optimizing business relationships with trading partners. Safilo now exchanges approximately 100,000 point of sale messages monthly with various partners, significantly enhancing their operational performance.
