This case study outlines the deployment of the Selector AIOps platform by a global telecommunications leader to create a digital twin of its extensive network, which includes over 20,000 devices and processes more than 3TB of data regularly. The implementation aimed to enhance visibility, accelerate troubleshooting, and improve operational planning through advanced analytics. The platform enabled the ingestion of large-scale telemetry data and facilitated full path computation and dependency mapping. Key functionalities included historical path replay for incident analysis, generative AI for configuration summarization, and proactive 'what-if' simulations to assess the impact of potential network changes. The outcomes demonstrated significant improvements in troubleshooting speed, network augmentation planning, and non-intrusive analysis capabilities. The study also highlights the challenges faced, such as the need for a unified model of infrastructure and service topology and the necessity for insight generation without direct access to the live network.
