Flooring Solution for Tomlinson Dairies Project

This document is a case study detailing the flooring solution implemented for Tomlinson Dairies located in Wrexham, North Wales. Founded in 1983, Tomlinson Dairies has expanded its operations to produce over 25 million liters of fresh milk annually, necessitating an increase in production capacity. The company constructed a new dairy facility and required a flooring system that could withstand the wet and slippery conditions typical in dairy operations while also being safe and non-tainting. The project had a tight construction schedule, emphasizing the need for a quick installation. Sika was tasked with providing a suitable flooring solution, resulting in the application of over 5000m2 of Sika® Ucrete® UD 200 and Sika® Ucrete® RG for skirting. Following the successful installation in the main production areas, Sika was also engaged to provide a similar flooring solution for a new yogurt production facility.
