Jacket Installation with Grouted Pile Sleeve ELM 16

This document is a project report detailing the jacket installation with a grouted pile sleeve for the ELM-16 platform in the Gulf of Mexico. The project, contracted by Permaducto S.A. de C.V. for PEMEX in March 2022, involved securing a four-legged jacket structure to the seabed at a water depth of 44 meters. SikaGrout®-9610, a high-performance cementitious grout, was selected for its strength, flowability, and durability. The project required precise grouting solutions to withstand offshore environmental challenges and demanded rapid strength development. Sika provided 44 metric tons of SikaGrout®-9610 along with complete offshore support, including equipment and a skilled crew. The installation process included preparation of a grouting procedure and compressive testing to meet QA/QC requirements. The operation was completed safely and efficiently, meeting project timelines and client satisfaction, with Sika's grout contributing to the successful installation and minimizing vessel time.
