This case study details how IRCEM, a social protection organization based in Lille, France, strengthened its identity security posture to meet compliance requirements and secure privileged accounts. Faced with increasing regulatory pressure from Agirc-Arrco, IRCEM recognized the need to enhance security controls for both human and non-human identities. The organization evaluated various solutions, ultimately selecting Silverfort for its ability to enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA) and provide real-time visibility into service account activity. Following a successful proof of concept, IRCEM deployed Silverfort across its on-premises environment within two weeks. The deployment secured 20 sensitive service accounts and 24 highly-privileged users, enabling the IT team to monitor authentication patterns and apply conditional access controls effectively. The integration of Silverfort with Microsoft Teams facilitated real-time alerts on security events, enhancing the organization's ability to respond to potential threats. Overall, IRCEM achieved compliance with regulatory standards while significantly improving its identity security framework.
