Workforce Management Case Study for Investment Firm

This case study outlines the challenges faced by a worldwide investment firm in the finance sector regarding their identity management deployment. The firm, with an employee size of 2.5k-5k and annual revenue between $100-$500 million, experienced security gaps and regulatory risks due to an unoptimized implementation of SailPoint's Identity IQ. Following the appointment of a new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the firm recognized the need for a comprehensive identity assessment to identify flaws in their existing system. Simeio was engaged to provide an advisory and assessment workshop, which included a maturity benchmark and interviews with on-site staff. The assessment revealed gaps in the identity management systems and led to two major system overhauls: transitioning from SailPoint IIQ to SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and securely migrating over 4,000 identities.
