This report examines the All Bodies Dance Project (ABDP) and its role in promoting inclusivity and accessibility in dance. Grounded in principles of Disability Justice (DJ) and Community Cultural Development (CCD), the research identifies ABDP's strengths, challenges, and areas for growth. Utilizing a qualitative, mixed-methods approach, the study includes structured interviews, focus groups, participant observation, and a literature review on disability arts. Findings indicate that ABDP successfully creates a welcoming environment for participants, fostering creative freedom and personal connections. However, it also faces challenges related to physical accessibility, transportation, and representation in leadership roles. Participants expressed a need for clearer performance pathways and enhanced outreach to underrepresented communities. Recommendations for improvement include enhancing venue accessibility, increasing transportation support, and expanding class offerings. By addressing these challenges, ABDP can further its mission of providing an equitable space that redefines traditional notions of ability and artistic expression.
