This case study details the implementation of SmartCOMM™ by Nautilus Insurance Group to enhance service quality through automated customer communications. Nautilus, which distributes commercial insurance products via a network of around 140 managing general agents, faced challenges in managing and modifying forms used by agents. The previous Oracle-based system was labor-intensive, prompting the need for a more efficient solution. Smart Communications was selected for its functionality and ease of integration, leading to a hybrid solution that combined in-house data capture with SmartCOMM™ cloud services. The implementation process was straightforward, allowing agents to create PDF files in approximately four seconds, significantly reducing the time required to issue policies. Furthermore, the integration improved claims processing efficiency, enabling real-time visibility of new business. The partnership with Smart Communications has proven beneficial, as Nautilus continues to enhance its operational capabilities.
