This case study outlines the implementation of SmartCOMM™ by Nautilus Insurance Group to enhance service quality through automated customer communications. Nautilus, which distributes commercial insurance products via a network of approximately 140 managing general agents, faced challenges in managing and modifying forms used by agents. The previous system was labor-intensive, prompting the need for a more efficient solution. After engaging with Smart Communications, Nautilus opted for a hybrid solution that integrated their existing data capture application with SmartCOMM's cloud-based services. The implementation process was straightforward, allowing agents to create PDF files in approximately four seconds, significantly reducing the time taken to issue policies from 25 minutes to four. The integration has also improved claims processing efficiency, enabling real-time visibility of new business. Overall, the case study demonstrates how SmartCOMM has positively impacted Nautilus's operational efficiency and business growth.
