It highlights that 88.90% of dark web threats are directed exclusively at Lebanon, with public administration being the most targeted sector at 26.32%. The report details that data theft constitutes 74% of all recorded threat activities, emphasizing the high value placed on sensitive information by cybercriminals. It also discusses the fragmented nature of ransomware threats, with no single group dominating the landscape. Stormous and FunkSec are identified as the leading ransomware groups, accounting for 21.43% and 20.12% of attacks, respectively. The report further outlines the prevalence of compromised credentials, with over 556,000 email and password combinations affected, and details the implications of unauthorized access sales linked to various sectors, including logistics and public administration. Strategic recommendations are provided to mitigate these threats.
