Flexible Apigee X Migration for Ecommerce Expansion

This document is a technical report detailing the migration of New Look, a U.K.-based fashion retailer, from MuleSoft’s AnyPoint API Platform to a Google Cloud Apigee X environment. The migration was initiated to capitalize on the growth of digital channels, particularly through mobile applications, during the pandemic. New Look selected SoftServe for this project due to their proven expertise in cloud migrations and a strong proposal developed through workshops. The report outlines the requirements for a seamless transition, emphasizing the need for a downtime-free experience to maintain user experience. SoftServe's approach included a three-phase deployment strategy that ensured business continuity and flexibility in traffic routing. The report further describes the benefits of the migration, including increased revenue potential, enhanced security, and simplified integration processes. It also highlights the collaborative environment fostered by SoftServe, which contributed to the successful execution of the migration.
