Gyrene Portable Water Purification System Case Study

This case study details Gyrene's development of the Mangrove Vehicle Integrated Atmospheric Water Harvester using 3DEXPERIENCE Works solutions. The system is designed to create water from the atmosphere in arid climates and includes a mobile filtration system for purifying water from various sources. The objective was to advance the system from a proof-of-concept prototype to a modular product suitable for military and civilian use. Gyrene replaced its previous design software with a suite of 3DEXPERIENCE Works tools to enhance collaboration and data management, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The case study outlines the challenges faced, including the need for a modular design that allows for customization and transportability. It also discusses the optimization of the system's weight through simulation, which has led to significant improvements in design efficiency.
