2023 Connected Data Survey Results and Insights

This report presents the findings from the 2023 Connected Data survey conducted by Solita among its community of data and integration professionals. The survey aimed to explore the technology usage, processes, and initiatives within the organization. A total of 184 responses were collected, providing insights into team structures, competence development, and preferences for AI-assisted tools. The results indicate that a significant majority of respondents, 77%, gained competence through live projects, highlighting the organization's commitment to learning in a practical environment. Additionally, the survey examined the use of various technologies, revealing that Power BI and Tableau are the most utilized data visualization tools. The report also discusses the ethical considerations surrounding AI tools, with privacy concerns being a notable focus among respondents.
