Application Scaling with Cloud Migration and Modernization

This document is a case study detailing the challenges faced by a customer in integrating and scaling their services to accommodate a growing user base. The customer experienced issues such as lack of integration, scalability challenges, inefficient resource allocation, and availability problems. To address these issues, a comprehensive cloud migration and digital platform transformation strategy was implemented using Microsoft Azure. Key actions included consolidating legacy platforms, enhancing scalability, optimizing resource utilization, and achieving high availability with a 99.9% uptime. The migration also involved a UI/UX upgrade to Angular for improved user experience and the adoption of a CI/CD approach for faster development and deployment. The technology stack utilized included Azure Event Hub, Azure Functions, and Postgres on Azure, among others. The solution is designed to be adaptable for various sectors, including healthcare diagnostics and food manufacturing, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA and Hitrust.
